This controller has changeable functionality, which is determined by the task specific firmware installed. A USB port allows you to configure the controller via a simple editing configuration file. Previous solutions required separate configurations for each type of controller. Now it is enough to provide GUARD Net and simply install the appropriate firmware required for the particular case.

If you are using connection via PC with an RS-485 network (eg using Z-397 Guard or Z-397 Web converters) you can build the systems based on Mifare Classic 1K (Mifare Classic 4K) cards, in which case the cards can be used as an electronic wallet.

Matrix VI Web can be connected to LAN network using Wi-Fi connection, RS-485 network, directly to PC via USB port using Z-397 Guard USB/RS-485 (Z-397 Guard USB/RS-485/RS-422) converter, to wired Ethernet/Internet network (when Wi-Fi connection is unavailable) using Z-397 Web converter. This makes it possible to build a complete network access control system with a time tracking, event control and reports with our cloud access control solution.
