Detailed instructions, as well as the minimum conductors at the terminals provide for ease of installation and maintenance. Due to its three actuators (relays and two field-effect transistors), the controller is ideal for controlling electromagnetic and electromechanical locks, turnstiles and barriers. Also, in some configurations, it can be provided to connect an activator lock, i.e. requiring the supply of different voltage polarity for opening and closing.
Having separate terminals for fire signalling increases fire safety as well as switching into an active state enables unlocking of passages regardless of communication with the computer.
It has a second RS-485 port implemented within the controller as a galvanically isolated repeater RS-485 line. Thus, the long chain may be built as short multiple electrically isolated segments. This greatly improves the interference protection and yet the software accepts all the devices as if they were connected to the same RS-485 line.
